THE GEORGIA ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGE REPUBLICANS ANNOUNCES STATE ADVISORY BOARD

Congratulate Georgia’s own JT Mashburn on his Election

as National Chairman of the CRNC

Atlanta, GA – The Georgia Association of College Republicans has announced it’s new State

Advisory Board.

GACR Chairman Chaston Atkins stated, “The GACR State Advisory Board represents some of our state and nation’s foremost Republican leaders, and we are honored to have such a distinguished group advising our organization. Georgia will play a critical role in the 2026 midterms, and having a political veteran-level board of advisors will help our organization fundraise, grow, and lead as we prepare for Republican victories on the local, state, and national levels.”

Atkins continued, “We are also very excited to congratulate Georgia’s own JT Mashburn (UGA) on his election as Chairman of the College Republican National Committee. JT was elected as our National Chairman in June, and we know he will do great things in his new role.”

The Georgia Association of College Republicans is the oldest and the premier College Republicans organization in the state of Georgia.

Sue Everhart – Former Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party and the first woman to ever hold

that position.

Ginger Howard – Conservative Leader and former Republican National Committeewoman for Georgia.

United States Congressman Rich McCormick – Physician and USMC Veteran representing

Georgia’s 7th Congressional District.

Alec Poitevint – Former Chairman and former National Committeeman of the Georgia Republican Party. Mr. Poitevint is a well-respected businessman and conservative leader.

Dr. Ralph Reed – National conservative leader and Founder of the Faith & Freedom Coalition. Dr. Reed is the former Chairman of the Georgia Association of College Republicans and an original founder.

Julianne Thompson – Republican strategist, former GAGOP Press Secretary, and State Committee Member of the Georgia Republican Party.

Shelley Wynter – Conservative News Personality and host of the Shelley Wynter Show.
